2. Getting Started - Checklist¶
This chapter is summarizing all the steps in order to get you started quickly. The detail information on each topic is available in respective chapters of the user manual.
2.1. Bittium NeurOne Users¶
The checlist below helps in setting up the bossdevice RESEARCH.
The bossdevice have been received by you. The drivers have been installed from the sync2brain.com/downloads.
NeurOne biosignal amplifier with firmware 1.4.30 or above.
A computer running any windows 10 operating system.
NeurOne software installed on the windows computer version 1.5.1 or above.
MATLAB release 2021a installaled on the windows 10 computer.
Install Simulink, Simulink Real-Time, Simulink Coder and MATLAB Coder, Simulink Real-Time Target support package under MathWorks 2021a products. Hardware drivers also need to be installed according to instructions given in the chapter ‘Setup bossdevice Research chapter’.
1x LAN cable connecting NeurOne biosignal amplifier and the bossdevice as explained in section 3.1.

Downlaod the bossdevice API and latest firmware (DBSP.mldatx file)from the sync2brain support website available at api.sync2brain.com
It is possible to run the NeurOne EEG software and the Matlab control script both on the same computer. In this case, we recommend a computer with 3 network connections: (1) Wired ethernet connection to the NeurOne Main Unit; (2) Wired ethernet connection to the bossdevice; (3) Wired or wireless internet/local area network connection.
